Sizes ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW TO ORDER FROM THE ARTIST

What format should you choose for a drawing or painting? Some useful information.
WHAT FORMAT SHOULD YOU CHOOSE FOR CREATING A WORK OF ART?

Vertical, horizontal, square, double square, or freeform: the choice is yours. I am here to guide and advise you on how to best reconcile the subject (portrait, animal standing or with a backdrop) and your interior. Whether drawing or painting, composition is equally important.
Below, you will find a few formats in context. This will give you a better idea of the space they will take up on a wall. I will then give you a few tips to help you refine your choices: which orientation to choose depending on the subject, or how to choose a format that suits your interior.
WHAT SIZE OF DRAWING OR PAINTING SHOULD YOU CHOOSE BASED ON THE SIZE OF YOUR PET?

For small pets, small or medium-sized dogs, and cats, it is best to choose formats that are not too large. The maximum format should not exceed 50 cm x 70 cm or even 60 cm x 80 cm or 90 cm. Indeed, it is not always a good idea to make the animal larger than it actually is. A larger size is possible if the animal is depicted with a background.
For larger animals, any size can be suitable. It is simply a matter of choice and the available space in your home.
WHICH ORIENTATION TO CHOOSE - HORIZONTAL, VERTICAL, OR SQUARE?

Horizontal formats are more suitable when the subject is lying on their side or in a three-quarter position.
The vertical format is more suitable for a subject sitting or standing facing forward or in a three-quarter position. A portrait can also be enhanced with this format.
The square format is also well suited for a full-length portrait or a close-up portrait.
In any case, once I have your selection of photographs, I will be able to make several suggestions. I have extensive experience with compositions.
WHICH SIZE IS RIGHT FOR YOUR INTERIOR?

To get an idea of how my works look in real life, I invite you to take a look around my online store, where many of them are featured in interior design examples. But before you do that, you may want to read the following few lines, which will give you a better understanding of the models in my store.
An important question arises: where are you going to put your artwork? Depending on the format, here are a few answers.
Horizontal formats are particularly suitable for placing on top of furniture, fireplaces, shelves, and even, if the format is very large, on top of a bed in a bedroom.
Vertical formats are more suitable for a section of wall near a vertical element: curtains, tall plants, a corner of a wall, or even near a door.
Square formats offer a wide range of possibilities as they can be adapted to almost any space.
Small formats have a more intimate feel and are particularly well suited to spaces with a special atmosphere. Large and very large formats are best displayed in fairly large rooms with high ceilings.
As you can see, all formats have their charm and will evoke a particular emotion depending on the atmosphere of your interior.
